2021 Vitality Westminster Mile update
31 March 2021, 12:00 p.m.
The following information was sent to all 2021 Vitality Westminster Mile runners on Wednesday 31 March.
We hope you are keeping well in these challenging times and it’s good to see some sunshine as we begin to come out of the current lockdown.
We are getting in touch to give you an update about the 2021 Vitality Westminster Mile.
We are working hard to plan the return of mass participation events following the success of the rollout of the national vaccination programme. Sadly, however, it is not possible to stage the Vitality Westminster Mile on its scheduled date of Sunday 30 May 2021, so we are looking for an alternative location and date later in the year.
We’ll send you regular email updates and share news on social media to keep you informed. Please add this email address to your contacts/address book to ensure you receive these updates.
Rest assured that everyone who had a confirmed entry in the 2020 Vitality Westminster Mile will automatically be transferred to run in the alternative event in 2021. If you are unable to run in the rescheduled event, you will be able to apply for a full refund of the entry fee you paid or rollover your place to the 2022 event at no extra cost.
There is no action that you need to take now. We’ll be in touch with more details by 17 May, when the UK is scheduled to move to Stage 3 in the easing of restrictions
Thank you for your understanding and please look after yourself over the coming weeks.
