The race course is ideal for spectators. It loops around the world-famous St James’s Park in central London and features plenty of great vantage points so encourage any friends and family who aren’t joining you for the run to come along to show their support.
Use the map below to check out the route and plan where to catch all the action.
We do not recommend driving; many roads will be closed from 08:00 due to the event, and parking in the area will be difficult.
Please follow the below link for details of road closures relating to the 2016 event.
Public transport if the best option, but check for any engineering works at www.tfl.gov.uk.
Vitality Wellness Weekend (May 28-29)
London's Green Park plays host to the Vitality Wellness Weekend, which features something for everyone, with lots of child and adult-friendly activities, brilliant giveaways and practical tips on how to stay fit and healthy.
For a taste of the excitement that was on offer in 2016, please view a map of Green Park over event weekend below.
During the Vitality Westminster Mile the park became a series of themed zones which featured a 30m athletics track, a range of demonstration pods - including a football freestyler and parkour specialists running, jumping and climbing in an urban set-up - a tag-playing area, a giant play parachute, an inflatable bungee run and much more.
For the adults, there were free high-energy Zumba classes as well as relaxing yoga and Pilates sessions.
There was also a live radio area, where the resident DJ kept everyone up to date with the Vitality Westminster Mile and London 10,000 and intereviewed special guests from the events, as well as spinning a few tunes to keep the party atmosphere going.
A range of delicious hot and cold food bars in the Vitality picnic area, including lots of tasty healthy options, were also available.
